Selden’s latest book is called The Promise of Representative Bureaucracy: Diversity and Responsiveness in a Government Agency. This critical work consists of seven chapters. The first chapter is called Bureaucracy As a Representative Institution, and it outlines the purpose and goals of the work and poses a number of questions about diversity in an organizational structure.
