Step 1 Evaluate the act using Kant’s categorical imperative 1

Step 1
Evaluate the act using Kant’s categorical imperative
1. State your proposed at as a maxim
I will take ZAR 620 000 000.00(A) when I’ve done a year work(C) in order to get really, really rich
2. Restate this maxim as a universal law;
“All people (7 billion of them) will take ZAR 620 000 000 .00 when they’ve done a year’s work in order to get really really rich”
3. Ask whether the maxim is conceivable in a world ruled by the universal law

The maxim is not conceivable in a world ruled by the universal law, The reason why I am saying this is because if people are earning ZAR 620 000 000.00 will lead to a serious problem in the economy there will be an increase in spending which will results in the change of demand and supply in the market, demand will increase because everyone will be spending more and the supply will decrease, the more people are spending the more will face a shortage in the products demanded which lead to the downfall of the economy. And people will do as the please because they have more money.

4. Ask whether you would rationally act on your maxim in such a world
I would never act rationally because I would overspend on unnecessary things for the fact that I have money or because I am rich maybe even end up in debts because I will be over spending.

Step 2: Form an option
2.1 What would Kant probably have said about Whitey BassonWhitey Basson worked hard to be where he is so Kant was going to see his earning as imperfect duty he created jobs to aid others.

2.2 What do you think about Whitey Basson earning ZAR 620 000 000 .00
I would say he deserve to earn more because he worked really hard, he manages to come with different ideas in order to achieve.

2.3 Why do you thing this.

He faced so many challenges and he didn’t give up. Instead he pushed till he reaches his goal,Hard work pays.
