Schindler’s List is a movie that follows the life of Oskar Schindler

Schindler’s List is a movie that follows the life of Oskar Schindler, a German businessman, who saves the lives of more than a thousand Jewish refugees from the Holocaust by employing them in his factories during World War II. He took this event and turned it into an economic opportunity during the war and continued supplying materials to army units. It was made in 1933 and was filmed in black and white. I believe that it was filmed in such dull colors so the viewers could feel the emotion of every character. One part of the movie was in a color and that was to accent the color of the coat on a little girl. It was red, an eye catching color. She was very young but showed up in the movie many times. A devastating part was when he saw her for the last time in her read coat, her body was being taken away with numerous other dead bodies. The plot of the movie is based Hitler’s crave for power and what tragic events hes does to claim and then maintain that power.
