An analysis of lines 45-75 of the “Odyssey” by Homer, as translated by Robert Fagles. By understanding the elements of ruthless bravery, prayer in storytelling text and the usage of persuasion of Odysseus in telling his tale, we can understand how Homer intends this scene in rhetorical speech.
