“Having a baby is supposed to be a joyous time for a couple, but it is estimated that seventy to eighty percent of all new mothers will cry sometime during their hospital stay after giving birth. This is ?called post-partum blues (2002)? and will usually disappear in two weeks. However, after two weeks this can develop into post-partum depression (PPD) and can last for a year (2002).”
