In this play actors play such a huge role which makes the use of sound effects almost not that important and this is clear as their use is minimal which just shows that in most case sound effects don’t create that much of a difference as was in the early times. However, the development of sound effects and the modernisation of theatre will mean that the audience expects more from the theatre itself even before the actors step on stage rather than rely only on the actor which was in Elizabethan times which just means theatre has advanced to larger levels beyond anything the early audience would have seen.
