In my opinion, the low cost revolution is not only a passing trend. In fact, it is a solution that suits many clients and captures a big market sector. I recommend that Air France strengthens its position on it provided that it respects one rule : Transavia must have its own culture and its own rules so as to be competitive. Of course, there should be synergies and platform effects between the two companies, but they must function separately. On the other hand, I think that Air France should improve the quality of its services and better use the ‘French label’ so as to become ‘a high class company’ like Gulf companies.
