Cathy

Cathy, a cleaner at a general hospital, has made a number of complaints to her manager about the outdated and faulty equipment she is asked to use. Mops and buckets don’t function properly, warning signs are hard to read and most of the disinfectant stock is past its expiration date.

Asu has recently started working at a local drop-in centre but has some concerns about the breadth and quality of training that has been provided. Compared to his previous role, he was given no formal training about sharps and administration of injections and vaccinations. He is unable to find any resources relating to the topic at the centre and other staff who he was spoken to also seem to lack the required expertise.
