World War II and the United States involvement resulted in many significant economic changes for Americans towards a political viewpoint in terms of executive and government action in foreign policies, progressive for Americans working towards the war effort, and a cultural restoration facing foreign nations. The path America took towards World War II had affected the citizens living in cities big or small focusing on the war effort. WWII led more people into the workforce which had brought the industrial status up for America as a nation. More people joining the workforce had also helped citizens recover from the Great Depression. Executive and government actions are shown by Franklin D. Roosevelt and his presidency. His wild approaches to many political matters such as the Executive Order 9066 that declared Japanese Americans a threat to the national security, this was a few year after the traumatic event at Pearl Harbor. FDR also had made approaches toward foreign policies. Cultural restoration of a nationwide feeling was caused by the traumatic event of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
