In this essay, the theories of Karl Marx are applied to Canadian contexts as a way to interpret the importance of an education. This paper provides a sociological analysis of Marx’s theories and offers an analysis of these theories as a way to explain how education is implied in Marxism. The implication of education is then connected with both class struggle and Canadian social structures.
