Museums were an exclusive collection of artwork accessible solely by the wealthy, upper classes of society; it had the limited viewer, however, was engaged in the sale of artifacts. Within the past, museum artifacts have been a location in an array of places. Within the 1990s, the world of art initiates the virtual museums on the web for different classes of society, institution and the countries to view. With this new technology, it has an interactive virtual space that provides information and exhibits cultural pieces in a digital layout. The journey of a virtual museum is easy to maneuver, it provides many operational options like zooming features and real-life viewing of all exhibitions. There are many alternative virtual museums out there on the worldwide internet, for the viewer to perceive without leaving their home at no cost to the viewer. In the early century artist crafted sculptural pieces small etched forms of people especially woman and animals. After touring Google Arts & culture virtual museums, it was very difficult to selected artists, who creativity and uniqueness blended together with the theme about The Representative of Women in the different culture. These artworks belong to an assortment of museum, institutions, and galleries all over the world. In this tour, these pieces are from 11 artists to exhibit based on different types of art forms and interpret the theme proposal. These selections were chosen because of both the beauty of culture, the traditional impact, and workmanship.

Each artist told their tale in a different way, Degas selected a sculpture to represent his view of how society undermine the underprivileged of the era. Revealing the innermost feeling of his subject matter true feeling instead of a polish outlook of a sophistic artwork. While Klimt selected to displaying an outer beauty of the ladylikeness and some colorful hues in a contemporary method.
In the 21st century, the role of both digital and brick and mortar institutions are very vital; most institution are conduction business on the Worldwide web. The generation of today’s viewers are swiftly craving the illustration and the virtual rather than the brick and mortar. So, Museums have to change with the modernization of technology and the intrinsic worth. Several museums are adapting to the digital revolution, new technologies are offering enhanced possibilities for viewers to observe and experience with virtual museum and its exhibits. With my experience visiting Tampa Arts museum and Google Arts & Culture virtual museum were very priceless. A trip to Tampa Art Museum was an aesthetic experience; the design of the building represents a jewel box sitting on a glass pedestal of optic color changing lights. There are artworks surround this institution; the layout off the gallery use very space and distance. Viewer can access this gallery at an explicit time of the date. Many of the viewers enjoy the regular artists. Additional, it offers family and student programs regarding educational knowledge about art history and cultivating interest within the community. However, the Google Arts & Culture virtual museum does lack the size, depth and physical space; some of artwork is two-dimensional, and some of the detail lose or alter their texture on the canvas painting. The good thing about virtual museum is that viewer can navigate throughout different museums in other countries than a physical museum. Even though, the curator designs a layout, the viewers have the chosen to view whatever they wish. With digital museum, viewers can find information needed quickly and easily because of database archival and hypertext links. The collection of the exhibit in the virtual museum are often just merely a sampling and not all the collections.
In Summary, personally, I am not a brick and mortar museum fan; my experience walking through the museum was not excited. There was various collection of exhibition that I was not interested to see but Google Arts & Culture virtual museum I felt a different connection with the pieces of artwork that I selected. As a viewer, exploring several distinctive galleries at any time of the day work well for my schedule. Also, Edgar Degas and Gustav Klimt are indeed telling stories about the representation of women in art history with mindful of their cultural characteristic.
