Here are some questions I asked the children after they had finished a group session doing some number counting in maths, and their answers to this;
Did you enjoy the activity?
Yes I really enjoyed the activity helping me to learn my numbers.
Why did you enjoy the activity?
Because we had fun and we learnt our numbers by doing fun things and games and this helped us learn.
What was your favourite part of the activity?
Our favourite part was using the counters to work out things in real life so we had a question like Sam had so many cats and Dom had so many how many are there all together so we use counters as cats so we could get the total amount.
What would you like to do next time?
Next time I would like to use cubes instead of counters, and use some bigger numbers.
