1.Energy Efficient vehicle
?As per the 2014 annual report of UMW Holding sdn bhd, PERODUA maintained its No.1 overall position in the Automotive Industry for the ninth consecutive year, contributed in part by the strong sales of the newly-launched PERODUA Axia, Malaysia’s first energy-efficient vehicle, in the fourth quarter of the year.

?Deputy International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Ahmad Maslan has confirmed that the unavailability of Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) feature in Proton cars have caused them not to be able to attract a high local market as compared to Perodua cars. 2.Safety features
?In a research conducted by Accenture (2012), it has found that Malaysian consumer prefer safety features in car to avoid accidents and also to assist in post accidents ( Ng and Yazdanifad, 2015)
